Like, For Shore! ran in color twice. Above, Sunset and Armpit (Armpit's bumper sticker: "I Brake for Jayne Mansfield's Head").

Too late to turn back

So there I was. Stuck with the worst name for a comic strip that had ever seen print. And the jokes were atrocious, too. Not to mention the artwork. For the first year, I used only a Rapidograph and Zip-a-Tone. The second year I was able to improve my lettering, switch to a brush and make my panels on the Macintosh. But it was too late. The strip still sucked (although I still run into people who attended UNR those years and they hound me for an anthology) and after nearly three years it ended.

(A side note: on a dare I created another strip, called "The Gore Score" starring Doc Splatter, and it won the hearts of millions. And I put way less time and effort into that strip than Like, For Shore! Go figure.)
